SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS NG-21 launch and landing
SpaceX launches Falcon 9 B1080 (Flight #10) & the Cygnus spacecraft from SLC-40, Cape Canaveral SFS, Florida, USA on Sun Aug 4, 2024 at 15:02 UTC.
This mission is Cargo Resupply Service 21 from Northrop Grumman. Due to the retirement of the Antares 230+ rocket, Northrop Grumman purchased three missions from SpaceX to launch the Cygnus spacecraft to the International Space Station before the Antares 330 rocket enters operation and fulfill the CRS Phase 2 contract manifest. Cygnus is expected to reach the International Space Station on Tuesday 6th early in the morning.
The Falcon 9 first stage landed at approximately T+0:07:52 on Landing Zone 1.
