A premium vase style water filtration faucet in a beautiful finish that will accentuate and compliment alongside any kitchen sink faucet and décor. Unlike inferior plastic-feel, light-duty faucets that came with your filtration system, this one is constructed out of heavy-duty zinc composite and a built-in ceramic disc valve for years of usage.

Heavy Duty Body

This faucet comes with a heavy zinc composite alloy body which provides durability and prolonged usage.

Included faucet wrench

The included Metpure faucet wrench is specifically designed to make the installation easy and drastically cut down your installation time. With this tool, you don’t need to lie on your back under the sink to tighten the faucet with an adjustable wrench.

Long Lasting Ceramic Disk Cartridge

Durable ceramic disk cartridge provides temperature resistance, corrosion-proof, and durability for up to 500,000 times of use.

Pre-inserted Tubing

Tubing has already been pre-inserted to provide you with an easy installation process.

Installation Process Step 1

Wipe clean the hole on your countertop.

Install the escutcheon plate and gasket above the counter.

Place your faucet through the hole.

Installation Process Step 2

Under the sink, slide on the split washer, spacer (if needed), stainless steel washer, star washer and the nut last.

Use the RO faucet wrench provided to easily tighten and secure the faucet in place.

Installation Process Step 3

Place the included compression nut over the tubing, followed by the ferrule and the plastic insert last.

Installation Process Step 4

Use the provided quick connect couplings to connect the same size drain lines from the airgap faucet to your RO system.

Common Issues Using an Airgap Faucet

– Water leaks at the airgap hole on the faucet. This is due to the 3/8″ OUT drain tube being clogged/blocked and drain water is backed up, resulting in drain water exiting the airgap hole. To fix, unblock the drain tube.

– There is constant gurgling noise coming from the airgap faucet. This is due to the 3/8″ OUT drain tube connected from the airgap to the drain pipe sagging lower than the point where it connects to the drain pipe, thus causing a siphoning effect. To fix, simply shorten the drain tube so water flows down the whole length with no low spots.

– Water still gurgles/drains at the airgap hole. RO system drain water flow rate cannot exceed 20 oz/min, the capacity the faucet airgap is capable of handling; otherwise, gurgling sound or draining at the airgap hole may occur.

Note Before Purchase

This product is an airgap faucet with 3 connection ports that has a 1/4″ stem that will fit 1/4″ permeate water line, 1/4″ drain inlet line (red) and a 3/8″ drain outlet line (white or black). If have 3/8″ permeate water line, use a 3/8″ adapter: refer to item B01HUD8Q7S.

Common Issues During Installation and Usage of Air gap Faucet

– Water leaks at the airgap hole on the faucet: This is due to the 3/8″ OUT drain tube being clogged/blocked and drain water is backed up, resulting in drain water exiting the airgap hole. To fix, unblock the drain tube.

– There is constant gurgling noise coming from the airgap faucet: This is due to the 3/8″ OUT drain tube connected from the airgap to the drain pipe sagging lower than the point where it connects to the drain pipe, thus causing a siphoning effect. To fix, simply shorten the drain tube so water flows down the whole length with no low spots.

– The gurgling noise is still continuing even when there is no low point on the drain line: The drain flowrate coming from the RO system is exceeding the maximum drain flowrate @ 40 oz/min allowed by the faucet.

– How to prevent the tubing connection ports from leaking: During installation, take caution in pulling or bending the pre-attached tubing with excessive force. This may cause the pre-attached tubing from disconnected from the attached ports or breaking off the ports entirely, causing leaks.

Defect Free Promise

If the faucet leaks due to manufacture defect of the drip free ceramic disc valve, we will replace it within 1 year of product purchase. Limited to non-commercial use only.

Compatibility

The most popular filtration systems come in 1/4″ feed tube, so we included that for you on all our RO faucets. But don’t worry, if your system comes with a 3/8″ feed tube, you can just convert it by using an adapter (sold separately). Search for item B01HUD8Q7S or B01HUBVDI4.
