Making a case for “The Battle of the Boot” with two awesome New Orleans producers Craig Stephen Lawson, known professionally as KLC and Byron Otto Thomas, known professionally as Mannie Fresh and one half of the group The Big Tymers with Baby. I go over most of the accolades both have due to time limitation on the recording. I will make a part 2 to continue my campaign to see these producers go head to head. Juvenile, Turk, and BG all worked with both producers and this just heats things up. Gregory D, who still does drops on the radio can certainly MC the night if it were to happen. This event can be held near either Essence Fest or Bayou Classic. We need to celebrate these guys while they are still here. Fresh is celebrating 25 years of producing the super hit Back that Ass Up and the album 400 Degreez. Let me know in the comments what y’all think. Be on the lookout for part 2.
