I purchased for my 9 year old and it's perfect

This thing is terrible. It won't hold a charge more than a few hours and if you pause it shuts off completely. Then it takes ten minutes of more to get it to boot. I know it's refurbished, but I would think it would operate as a new one would. The one I replaced was better than this even though it won't hold a charge and has trouble booting.

The battery seems to die pretty fast, I always have to have a charger on hand or turn it off when I'm not using it even for a few mins.

This will not hold a charge, connect to iCloud, or download any apps. This is a piece of junk.

I bought this for my 5 year old to have a “phone” to play her music and games on. Initially, it was fine. She loved it but then the battery started dying really fast. Then it got to the point where it wouldn’t charge or turn on at all. We ended up returning it. We only had it for 2 months.

Stay away from this company. We bought an iPod for my son. On the first day we noticed that the phone never fully charged. By day 7 it wouldn’t charge at all nor would it work when plugged in. The number listed for customer service is a loop that never allows you to speak to anyone. He waited so much time to get his first device and worked really hard to earn the money to purchase it. What a terrible experience.

The battery didn't charge fully. I tried to charge it longer. I checked it throughout the night. It only goes to 99%. And then it dies so quickly. Will be returning it. And it keeps kicking me off off iTunes.

Didnt work in my car like a gen 4 would have, itunes organization was all over the place despite my hours of meticulous labeling by band, album, song title and track number.

What's worth is that you have absolutely no choice in your refund method. It cost me 8 dollars to return, and the money wont even return to my bank account. I have to use it to buy more crap.

I will never purchase anything from amazon ever again
