NATO Provokes Putin; Orders To Place U.S.-Made Patriot Missiles Near Russia Border Amid War
Amid direct war fears, NATO has decided to bring American missiles closer to Russia. NATO will station U.S.-made Patriot anti-air missile systems in Lithuania. The announcement was made by the Baltic country’s defence minister, Arvydas Anusauskas. NATO nation Lithuania shares a border with Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad and with Russia’s ally Belarus. Moscow has warned against the stationing of additional foreign forces in Lithuania. Russia claims that such a move by NATO will only exacerbate military tensions.
