Jared Dudley won the first ever NBA title of his 13-year basketball career and brought the trophy to his hometown in San Diego.
Dudley vowed to bring the the trophy home, if he ever won an NBA championship. The Lakers’ forward did just that and LeBron James took to Twitter to celebrate his teammate fulfilling a lifelong promise.
Dudley had limited time in the court during the 2019/2020 season, however he was an important locker room presence for his team during its championship run.
He played in 45 total games in the regular season, making one start and averaging career-lows in minutes and points.
