After Shakuntala Devi and Sherni, Vidya Balan is back again with her next OTT film Jalsa on Amazon Prime Video. She plays Maya Menon, a reputed journalist. While Shefali Shah plays her maid Ruksana, after two back to back hit web shows Delhi Crimes and Human. Ruksana’s daughter meets with a misfortunate accident, while on a night-out with her boyfriend and gets seriously injured. The driver flees after the hit and run incident, leaving her to die but a rickshaw puller takes her to hospital. The police are trying to negotiate a settlement with Ruksana and her husband, because the person behind the accident is very powerful. Vidhatri Bandi plays a journalist who wants to bring the unknown accused forward. But the question is- can she?
